It’s been a good week in controllerism-land! Just yesterday Novation revealed their newest addition to the Launchkey line-up – LaunchKey Mini and today they’ve revealed yet another new controller – Launch Control!

Novation’s Launch Control is being touted as the perfect companion to the Launchpad.
It’s a compact controller with 16 assignable knobs and eight pads – and as a Launchpad owner who has very recently started looking for a controller with knobs to add to my Launchpad setup – I have to say that it really looks like it is the perfect companion!

Launch Control is designed to work with the Launchpad, but it is fully class-compliant and compatible with all major music software (oh, and your iPad too). No concrete details on release date and price just yet, but it will ship with 8 factory templates, 8 user templates, Ableton Live Lite, and a Loopmasters Sample Pack.
