Julien Bayle and 1111 – minimal A/V installation

It doesn’t get much more minimal than this.

Julien Bayle’s a virtuoso coder and lover of all things minimal. In case you don’t remember him, he was the focus of our last controllerist feature. Besides being one of the few Ableton certified trainers chosen to test and showcase Ableton Live 9 and Push in their respective countries and having made a series of Push videos as a perk (in French – but don’t worry, you’ll understand most of the stuff, it’s visually instructive), he’s been working on a Max audiovisual performance + installation project titled 1111, consisting of four pieces: 0001, 0010, 0100 and 1000.
